Given a URL, HOWP will re-parse the page, performing the following actions to make it better suited to display by the hiptop:
- rotate by 90-degrees any image (in <img> tags, "background" attributes, and <input type="image" ...> tags) that is too wide to be displayed by the Danger Hiptop and which has a width greater than its height
- allow each large image to be split into multiple parts in order to view each part in (closer to) its native resolution
- allow the user to zoom in to and pan around large image
- strips stylesheets and (recognized) banner ads)
- redirect all hrefs to go through HOWP, allowing you to browse retaining these features
