Living Groups
Chapter Forty Six.

Every young boy thinks that the Virgin Mary looks like his mother.

Sweat reads Living Groups. She doesn't like her nick(name).

I'd like to petition for a new nickname. Anything but Sweat. I hate that.

PS Condesa would be a good nickname. Is Sweat really definitive of my
personality...

"Am I still Sweat?"

I don't think that she realizes that she's stuck with it, for now at least. I don't choose names for my characters lightly. Sometimes I tell someone one or two of the always many reasons for which I choose a name, but no one has every guessed the most important reason for which each character is named that which (s)he is named. Sweat is Sweat. Sweat will never be aught but Sweat. The only chance that she who is Sweat will ever have of becoming one who is not Sweat is for me to look upon her and see in the place of Sweat one who is not Sweat, one who is aught.
And the audacity of suggesting a nick? It just doesn't work like that.
